NSW government to consider scrapping RSA certificate for COVID-stricken venues

Employment requirements could be relaxed for COVID-stricken hospitality venues across New South Wales to cut red tape for entry level workers.

The government is considering scrapping the Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate to serve beers – but will instead require workers to be supervised by an accredited manager.

The plan is primarily pitched at school-leavers and workers from other industries looking for immediate work.
